Claim 


  • CMD-702: Added an option to automatically decrement the number of authorized patient visits left on claim insert.  This feature can be turned on in the Practice section > Defaults > Claim Defaults > “Auto-Decrement Authorized Visits On Claim Entry”.

Eligibility


  • CMD-769:  Added CABC –Anthem Blue Cross– to the current list of payers that only want the EQ  segment in the subscriber level if the patient is the subscriber otherwise it will appear in the dependent level. Current payer Eligibility CPID’s affected by this in addition to CABC is ALBCSP-Alabama Blue Shield- and PABCBS-Pennsylvania Blue Cross Blue Shield-. 
  • TXN-82:  Added California Blue Cross Blue Shield (CPID CABS) to the current list of eligibility payers that require the EQ segment to only be submitted at the dependent level when the subscriber is not the patient. This fix is currently available in the 8.3.5 and 8.3.5.1 versions.

Patient 


  • CMD-623:  Added an option to save the current configuration of the Patient Export feature. Before locating patients the Export button is displayed besides the Open Active Patient button. Note: In order to export patients you must have the “Interface Access” permission.
  • CMD-768:  Modified the date column of the Appointments tab to now display the date and the abbreviated day of the week in brackets. I.e. 08/10/2010 (TUE).
  • CMD-1173 & CMD-1218:  Added two new fields to the Patient section to reflect Race and Ethnicity, these values will be used for meaningful use.

Payments & ERA’s


  • CMD-908:  Users now have the ability to view raw 835 data.  A button will appear in EOB Auto Apply, it’s titled “View Selected Check”.
  • CMD-939:  You can now choose to turn off Automatic Patient Payment Redistribution. This is not recommended and a warning will be displayed should the user choose to do so and modified the Auto-apply code to put the account credit to the payer instead of the patient. The control for this option is located in the Practice section > Defaults > EOB Auto-Apply Defaults. By default, it is turned on.
  • CMD-958:  You can now choose to reuse the pre-existing memo line from a patient payment that was redistributed (with a * on the end to indicate this was a system generated credit line item). 
  • There can also be  a new info line added with each of the new patient payment redistribution credit line items to show they were auto-apply generated and the original credit line item's transactions Id can be included. The control for determining what options to do is located in the Practice section under the Defaults tab. A new sub tab named "EOB Auto-Apply Defaults" has a combo box where the user can configure the memoline/info line option.

Portal


  • CMDP-108:  In the System section under the User Profile tab we added a second security question and answer. The program was modified so that if a user accepts the EULA (End user License Agreement) there, the web portal will not ask them to accept it again when they log into the web portal for the first time.
  • CMDP-108:  Users now have the ability to reset their CMD password via the Portal using their username and password.

  • CMD-842:  Added two new Statement Header fields which will get added to the header when using Statement Automation. This can be found under Statements Automation

Provider


  • CMD-1248:  Added a feature that will no longer allow Admins/Users to modify the EIN or SSN fields for an existing Provider. Note: Admins/Users will still have permission to add a new Provider and edit the EIN or SSN fields when the providers are initially added. Once this data is saved they will be incapable of making changes to these two fields and must Contact Support for additional assistance.

Reports


  • CMD-1001:  Added a My Favorites section to the reports tree in the Report section.  Reports can be added or removed from the branch by right clicking on the report. 
  • RPT-318:  Web – Added the primary payer name to the Claims Billed/Entered report.
  • RPT-353:  Added filtering by the Entered Date Range to RVU report on the Application and Web Portal.
  • RPT-420:  The Charges Pending Insurance report will now include patient with zero balances when searching for all patients.

System


  • CMD-859:  Added visual indicators to the Change Password window to show password requirements and to notify you when the requirements have been passed. 
  • CMD-934:  Added a Dashboard feature to the application. Dashboard can be created per user and shared with other users, with the given permission.  Dashboard supports charts and gadgets that can be modified and deployed “on the fly” without release intervention.
  • CMD-951:  Added Alerts tab to the System section.  The Alerts tab resides in the same pane as the News section.  It will appear as a new tab on login or switching customers. The permission called "System Alerts" supports access to this tab. Administrators are automatically granted Full permission to System Alerts.
  • CMD-1210:  Modified the logic of the News tab within the CollaborateMD application such that it will pull only specific entries on the CollaborateMD Blog.  This will position us to post the RelayHealth notifications on the CollaborateMD Blog in the future (instead of sending them via CollaborateMD Messaging) without having them display on the News tab.
  • CMD-1332:  Each user can now set a PIN that can be used for identification when calling support.

Control (Tracking)


The Tracking section has been renamed to Control section. This section is the central control for the entire billing life cycle. Claims, Statements and Invoices can all be tracked and managed from this section. 

  • CMD-739:  Added Due Patient as a Claim Status to search by in Claim Control. 
  • CMD-748:  Replaced the FDN Assignment tab with a new Patient A/R Control tab. Patient A/R Control will allow you to change patient charge statuses to “Balance Due Patient”, “Pending Patient” or “Collections” and it will also allow you to write balances off on a batch level.
  • CMD-1075:  Two new tabs (Activity & SF Reports) have been added to Claim Tracking when the option to Show Details is selected. The Activity tab will display the same data that was displayed previously.  The data displayed under the SF Reports tab will stand in lieu of the CR reports that were discontinued on November 30, 2010. 
  • CMD-1194:  Improved look and feel of the search filters by adding a “Collapse” option for each search criteria. The collapse option can be found under Claim Tracking, Claim Control, Statement Tracking and Patient A/R Control. 
  • RND-6:  Redesigned the look and feel of the Control section by placing the filter pane to the far left hand side of the screen instead of at the top.  
  • RND-11:  You can now create/edit/delete User Search Filters. The User Search Filter stores the options and values of search parameters and allows the user to save these criteria so they do not need to re-enter or re-select these same values each time they want to do the same search or filter. Administrators can set a filter they created to be available to all users under the customer they are logged into. Note: All filters created can be referenced under any of the tabs in the Control. Although filters names cannot be used more than once.

Other


  • CMD-891:  Added Self Service Portal link from the application. Currently does not support SSO (Single Sign On) functionality.
  • CMD-933:  Revised the application status bar to include a memory indicator and a forced garbage cleanup button and modified all dialogs within the application to use a green fade banner with the CMD logo.
  • CMD-1012:  Added a link to Idea Exchange from the application.  Currently does not support SSO (Single Sign On) functionality, possibly forthcoming.
  • CMD-1279:  A link to the Training website has been added to the Menu bar within the application. 
  • CMD-1285:  Updated logo in the screen that is displayed when CollaborateMD is loading and also at the top of the News tab in the System section. 
  • CMD-1291:  Added links for Live Chat and Blog into the Menu bar within the application. 
  • MAC Systems are now supported. 
    • The hardware requirements are the same as for Windows 7 and the users must be running MAC OS X 10.6 ("Snow Leopard") or later. 
    • Users update Java on the MAC by running software update (it can't be done through our program like it is for Windows). 
    • Users should make sure to run software update (under the Apple menu in the top left of the screen) to make sure that they have all of the most recent security patches and bug fixes.
