PATIENT PAYMENT PLANS


Utilizing Patient Payment Plans can significantly increase the number of patients who are able to pay their charges, past or future, in full. How do you manage when your patients can’t pay up front and need a payment plan? We’ve got you covered! Check out the Animations and Screenshots below related to:

1. Add a New Payment Plan

Adding a Payment Plan is easily done in just three steps!

  1. Define the total amount of the plan.

  2. Define the installment amounts, dates, and frequency of payments.

  3. Finalize the plan and you’re good to go!

Additionally, you have the option to associate a Payment Plan with or without existing charges.

2. Apply Payments to a Patient Payment Plan


Applying Payments directly to a Patient Payment Plan is simple, with options to Apply Automatically, Apply Manually, and even a new button to directly Apply Credit to Payment Plan.

3. New Fields for Payment Plans

Now, you’ll see new Patient Payment Plan related fields in several different places within the application, including but not limited to Superbill variables, Reports, Patient, and Dashboards. Below, check out an example of these fields within the Payment and Patient sections, designed to make it even easier for you to keep track of your patients’ Payment Plan Installments and balances.

4. Preview or Print Enhanced User Print Statements for Payment Plans

We’ve created NEW Patient Payment Plan statements that can be printed and previewed so you know exactly what information your patient is receiving. These statements are supported by all statement types, including User Print, Automation, and Enhanced User Print (as seen below).

5. View Payment Plan Balance Reports

We’ve added a new Payment Plan Balances report that enables you to keep track of all your Patient Payment Plan upcoming due dates and overdue installments in one location.

6. View Payment Plan Balances on the Dashboard


Now you can add Payment Plan Balances to your dashboard, another efficient way you can monitor overdue Payment Plan Installments and upcoming due dates for patient Payment Plans. Share your dashboard with staff who may need to follow up on overdue and upcoming installments to increase the efficiency of your office workflows.
