v9.6 Summer Release

Thanks to our User’s feedback and contributions on Idea Exchange, we’ve created some smaller updates in v9.6 that directly benefit the User’s needs and improve workflow. In this preview, you will find Part 1 of Version 9.6 Sneak Peeks that include updates related to Authorizations, CBI, and Claims!

Please keep this in mind when comparing screen shots to the tabs and icons you have available in your CollaborateMD application. Some items or views are subject to change before release dates.

AUTHORIZATIONS


Now you can set Custom Authorization Alert Time Periods to ensure that you are aware of insurance expirations. Use the same dropdown to set an alert for 30, 60, or 90 days, or you can manually enter a custom number into the blank field.

CBI


The Central Business Intelligence area allows you to retrieve the data they need, how you need it, and when you need it via the Report Viewer and Report Builder. We’ve made some updates to the CBI that will make it even easier and faster to use.

  • Now, after running a report you can Change Filters from the Refresh button to speed up re-running the same report, but with different filters.

  • The new option to Change Filters can be used to quickly compare different date ranges or other filter options. Once you Change Filters and click Run Report, the refreshed report will open in a new tab to review and compare.

  • CBI has a New Filter Option for Numeric and Monetary Fields. This new filter option is named: “Does Not Equal” and allows you to quickly remove numeric or monetary values from your report.

    • CollaborateMD will now mask SSN fields by default in CBI Reports to provide extra security in regards to patient information. To display the complete SSN field on a report, simply edit your Report in the Report Builder*, right click on any field regarding the SSN, and deselect “Mask SSN”.

    *Report Builder is available only on certain plans. To verify your plan and features go to Admin>Services>Price Plans.

  • In Report Builder* you can now access “Build from Template” from the Report Viewer tab. Simply right click anywhere in the Reports display section and select Build From Template in order to streamline your report building workflow and save time.

  • Reports marked as favorites now appear in alphabetical order under your Favorites folder, making the process of finding your reports faster and easier. To mark a report as a Favorite, right click on your report and select “Add to Favorites”. To learn more about Favorites, review this Training Page.

CLAIM

Our monthly first pass claim acceptance rate across all of our customers has consistently averaged 99% — 29% higher than the national average! We work hard to help you save time and money with fewer claim rejections, so we’ve made some updates to make it even easier to use our Claims features.

  • Now, you can View Activity For All Claims. No matter which Claim you have open you can now easily review activity history For All Claims directly from the Claim Section.

  • New hotkey to check the Claim Status directly from the Claim Section. Now, you can use the hotkey “Alt + L” for the Claim Status to save time. Claim Status provides real-time responses about your claim within the Payer’s Adjudication Process, including how much is being paid on the claim once approved.   • We’ve added a new option to Batch Delete Claims from the Claims Section > Claim Control tab. Simply use the filters to create the batch of claims, checkbox the claims you wish to delete, select the new option “Delete” from the Control dropdown, and click “Save”.
