Scheduler Section


The Scheduler section of the application provides functionality to optimize your front-office and back-office workflow. Our state-of the-art module allows designated users to access several functions from within the scheduling program. The appointment scheduler can be easily customized to fit your needs in addition to configuring scheduling rules that will help maximize the physician's time.

The following help pages are supported by the current version of CollaborateMD. Please follow the curriculum outline to receive the proper training associated with this section.

Button Overview

Below you will find a description of the buttons located within the Scheduler section:
  • Show All: This button will show all current request.
  • New Request: This button will allow you to add a new request.

If your appointment schedule is full and you have an urgent appointment to schedule, you can create an appointment request.

Limitations

  1. You will not be alerted in the event an appointment slot becomes available. 
  2. You must manually add the appointment from the request list. Please see Creating Appointments for instructions on how to create an appointment from the request list.  

New Request

Follow the instructions below to add an appointment to the requests list:
  1. Go to the Scheduler section.
  2. Click the Requests tab.
  3. Select New Request.
  4. When the Create Appt Request window opens, enter the appointment details. 
    • Select the option to open your active patient, find a patient or create a new patient. 
    • Select the available from and to dates. Or click on the Other drop down menu to select a range.
    • Select the available from and to times or click on the All Day drop down menu to select a range. 
    • Click on the magnifying glass to select a Resource
    • Select an Office Location, if applicable. 
    • Select an appointment Type
    • Enter Comments related to the patients visit.
  5. Once the appointment details are entered click on the Save button. 

Find/Edit Request

Follow the instructions below to find an existing request:
  1. Go to the Scheduler section.
  2. Click the Requests tab.
  3. Select Show All.
  4. Double click on request you wish to open. 
  5. Make your changes and then click on the Save button.

Delete Request

Follow the instructions below to delete an appointment request: 
  1. Go to the Scheduler section.
  2. Click the Requests tab.
  3. Select Show All.
  4. Once the request are displayed, click the Remove button displayed beside the request.
  5. When the Remove Confirmation window opens, select Yes to delete the appointment request.
