Scheduler Section


The Scheduler section of the application provides functionality to optimize your front-office and back-office workflow. Our state-of the-art module allows designated users to access several functions from within the scheduling program. The appointment scheduler can be easily customized to fit your needs in addition to configuring scheduling rules that will help maximize the physician's time.

The following help pages are supported by the current version of CollaborateMD. Please follow the curriculum outline to receive the proper training associated with this section.

Button Overview

Below you will find a description of the buttons located within the Scheduler section:
  • Retrieve Options: This button will allow you to retrieve your appointment types and statuses options.
  • A-Z: This button will allow you to quickly set the ordering of the Appointment Status and Appointment Type list alphabetically

The Options tab is where Account Administrators or Authorized Representatives can come to configure the appointment schedulers colors and icons. By default, the appointment scheduler uses CollaborateMD's default colors and icons but this can be changed at any time.

The colors and icons selected within this section will apply to all users that have access to the Scheduler. Please keep this in mind when making changes.

Type Colors and Status Icons

Selecting Use Type Colors and Status Icons will allow you to configure which color displays when an appointment type is selected and what icon displays when an appointment status is selected.

Follow the instructions below to configure these settings: 
    1. Go to the Scheduler section.
    2. Click the Options tab.
    3. Select Retrieve Options.
    4. Select Use Type Colors and Status Icons.
    5. Select a Color for each appointment Type then select an Icon for each appointment Status
    6. To change the order in which the appointment types and statuses are displayed, select the appointment type/status and click on the 'up' or 'down' arrow to reposition the order.
    7. Once you are done with your changes, click Save.

    Type Icons and Status Colors

    Follow the instructions below to configure these settings: 
    1. Go to the Scheduler section.
    2. Click the Options tab.
    3. Select Retrieve Options.
    4. Select from one of the following options:
      1. Selecting Use Default Colors and Icons allows you to use the CollaborateMD standard configuration for both the Appointment Statuses and Types. This option is static and cannot be changed.
      2. Selecting Type Colors and Status Icons allows you to configure the color that displays for an appointment type and the icon that displays for an appointment status.

      3. Selecting Type Icons and Status Colors allows you to configure the icon that displays for an appointment type and the color that displays for an appointment status.

    5. Select the applicable Color and/or Icon based on your selection above. 
    6. To change the order in which the appointment types and statuses are displayed, select the appointment type/status and click on the icon manually to reposition the order. Alternatively, you can click on the icon to sort them alphabetically.
    7. Once you are done with your changes, click Save.
