Patient Section

The Patient section allows you to add and edit your patient demographics, insurance, claim information, and documents, as well as check eligibility and view patient appointments.

The following help pages are supported by the current version of CollaborateMD. Please follow the curriculum outline to receive the proper training associated with this section.


Button Overview

Below you will find a description of the buttons located within the Patient section:
  • Add Remote Files: Selecting this button will allow you to add files stored remotely on CollaborateMD's servers.
  • Add Local Files: Selecting this button will allow you to add files stored on your local drive. 
  • Remove: Selecting this button will remove the file from the patient's account.

Local Storage Mode (Legacy Plans Only)

Add Local Files

Follow the instructions below to add files from your local drive to a patient:
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Documents tab.
  4. Select Add Files.
  5. Select the file from your local drive. 
  6. Click Add. 

Remove Local Files

Follow the instructions below to remove a file from a patient:
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Documents tab.
  4. Highlight the document you would like to remove. 
  5. Click Remove.

Remote Storage Mode

Add Remote Files

Follow the instructions below to add a remote file to your patient:
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Documents tab.
  4. Select Add Remote Files.
  5. Select the file from your documents stored on CollaborateMD's servers. 
  6. Click Add. 

Remove Remote Files

Follow the instructions below to remove a file from your patient.
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Documents tab.
  4. Highlight the document you would like to remove. 
  5. Click Remove.
