Patient Section

The Patient section allows you to add and edit your patient demographics, insurance, claim information, and documents, as well as check eligibility and view patient appointments.

The following help pages are supported by the current version of CollaborateMD. Please follow the curriculum outline to receive the proper training associated with this section.

Button Overview

Below you will find a description of the buttons located within the Patient section:
  • Search: Selecting this button will allow you to search for appointments for this patient.
  • Close: Selecting this button will close the list of patient appointments
  • Print: Selecting this button will print your appointment list. 
  • Export: Selecting this button will export your appointment list.

Search for Appointments

Follow the instructions below to search for patient appointments:

  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Appointments tab.
  4. Enter your search criteria. Your list of appointments that match will display.

Open/Edit Appointments

Follow the instructions below to open/edit a patient appointment: 
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Appointments tab.
  4. Search for your patient appointments. 
  5. When your list of appointments displays, double click on the appointment you wish to edit/open.
  6. Make your changes.
  7. When you are satisfied with your changes, click Save.

Print Appointments 

Follow the instructions below to print your list of patient appointments: 
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Appointments tab.
  4. After you have searched for your appointments, click Print.

Export Appointments

Follow the instructions below to export your list of patient appointments: 
  1. Go to the Patient section.
  2. Open the patient or search for the patient you wish to edit using the Search field or Advanced Search button. 
  3. Click on the Appointments tab.
  4. After you have searched for your appointments, click Export. 
  5. Select the destination for your appointment list.
